At the age of 3 I was enrolled into dance by my Mom. Thinking back on it now, over the years I wasn’t a very good dancer nor was I a competitive one. But it was the physical movement of dance that I enjoyed. Growing up I was very shy and quiet which is shocking to believe seeing that now my career is standing in front of room guiding people to move. I was the kid in school that would make any excuse that I forgot my gym clothes so I didn’t have to participate in gym class. 

 

In the beginning of high school, I started taking dance a little more seriously while I also started to run and work out. In my basement we had a old treadmill that constantly had to be unplugged and reset after 10 mins. I never let that stop me from utilizing what I had. In addition to the broken treadmill my brother would do his own workouts while I would follow along and join in on the routine. I was working out everyday for at least 30 minutes and I felt encouraged and motivated to keep having this amazing feeling of endorphins. 

 

That made me realize that working out is not only about getting in shape. Everything we do in life is about how it makes us feel. I wanted to share the same emotion that I felt when I moved my body to others. I envisioned myself sharing this passion to a bigger audience. 

 

I went to college for fitness and health knowing that I wanted to pursue something that requires me to be apart of a big group setting that gets people moving their bodies. 

 

Fast forward - the vision I had is now my reality. I am able to energize and challenge people to move their bodies through fitness. The same amazing feeling that I received when I first started I am able to share to the world. 

 

While dreaming is important to achieving new heights, dreaming won’t actually get you where you want to be. You have to take action on that dream to bring it to life!
